Sooo… I’ve decided to try and cut caffeine from my diet. Reason? Cos I drink it mostly int evening and it stops me from getting a proper night’s sleep, plus I think I’ve been getting a little dehydrated and relying on it too much to keep me awake during the day.
I’ve just started yesterday cutting down from the dizzying heights of 7-8 per day of any drink containing caffeine ie; Tea, Coffee, Coke, ETC. Now I’m on 1 per day, normally in the afternoon around lunchtime ish.
Health-wise I feel less groggy, my mind feels a lot lighter if you like… but I have been having mood swings like a 15 year old girl during cricket week (you know. that time of the month). One minute I’ll be feeling excited and full of life… the next.. grumpier than a poor pensioners wallet.
I’m really hoping in a month’s time I can cut it out altogether and have a much healthier balance and not be dehydrated…. and by then I should stop being a ticking time bomb of fury.
